AMIGURUMI OWL

It has always been a belated birthday for one of my buddies so I want to make a "on-time" gift for her birthday this year :) .....and I made it!

May she grow wiser with years and blessed with grace and gentleness and lots more of her life to pass on and bless others.

An owl to symbolise WISDOM :)  This owl measures 4.5cm tall and 6cm across.





And here is Joanna's very first crochet.  She saw my owl and likes it very much and asked to learn.  She is a left-handler but she manages very well using her right hand to crochet.  She is unique and she seems to be able to handle the stitches pretty fast and well, considered as a first-timer.  Here is the result taken by her iPhone.  She did it in about 4 hours with little help from me!  She makes me proud!

MR BEAN'S TEDDY BEAR

I couldn't find a free pattern online for Mr bean's teddy bear so I just have to work it out myself. I made the neck thin so you can make him nod his head :) This is the result and it is for my faithful blog supporter..."Vi, hope you like it."



He measures 12.5cm tall.

BASKET OF HEARTS

I made these hearts as little appreciation gifts for some ministry partners.

I made a total of 20 pcs and a TQ flower card to go along with each heart.
Message: "A heart to change the world." & "Little is much when God is in it."


I enjoyed making each one of them.

DIAPERS STACKER

This gift has been pending for quite some time. Nevertheless, I got it finally done today and so happy I can give it away tomorrow. It is for a young couple who has been married for quite a number of years and have been waiting for a baby for a long, long, long time. I am so happy for them.

I added a crochet sunflower brooch to the top to decorate it. I am happy with the outcome.


 God bless the couple and their little princess.

PIGGIE BANK

I made this as a gift for a friend's birthday. Infact I got this inspiration from her video clip shown at the church one sunday.
I used a little plastic bottle which I carefully cut a slot. I crochet the body and head separately so it can still be opened to retrieve the money when it is full. I am very pleased with the result.
