I made this cupcake in time for a buddy's birthday but ended up belated delivery. I like the effect created by the half double crochet and quardruple crochet. I followed Teresa's tutorial for the frosty top. I used single stitch for the base.

MGC has her 1st Hope For Kids Training for 26 kids over 4 days and it was a great team work equipping these kids together. I appreciate each one of the trainers for their effort and time especially when this is just a week after the 4days' H4K workshop. I feel so encouraged and blessed by these partners and I made 20 pcs of this sunflower magnet to appreciate them.

May we continue the good work God started in us :)

These are for my two god-grandchildren. When they saw the set of angry birds I crocheted earlier on, they made their request. So after my busy schedules, I quickly make these two angry birds over these two days to give to them as Christmas gifts. This is the first year when none of our children will be back for Christmas. We thank God for a godson (kai-zai) and his family with whom we will be spending our Christmas with :)

This time I made the angry birds larger, as big as a tennis ball. I used double strand of the yarn.   For the beak, white eye and belly patches I used only one strand.  I am very pleased with the result.
