I made a lady bear and a turtle for Joanna to welcome her home this round. She bought me a book from ShenZhen and this rat is one of the patterns from the book which she requested. The yarn is bought from Daiso. It is a mixed colored cotton which is soft and nice to crochet.
WELCOME HOME :)
Joanna's collection.
And I made this dolphin for Lydia, Joanna's good friend and roommate. This pattern is also from the book bought by Joanna.
My collection of amigurumi books. The one with blue cover is bought by Joanna from ShenZhen.

G-BOX
This inspiration is from G-Box, a project to reach out and to share a meaningful Christmas with the needy children.
The "G" in G-Box is for God, Gospel, Grace, Gift, Goodness.
I used Green for G to mean life.
Red and Green for the box - Christmas colors - to share the true meaningful of Christmas
The Cross - without Christ all is in vain. Jesus makes the difference and He is the reason for it all.
And of course, who else deserve it more than the one who initiated this project - someone who is touched by God and cares enough to make things happen. May God bless her and her team for all their loving effort to make a little difference in the children's lives for this Christmas.

KEY HOLDERS
I made this for a friend's birthday. I actually made 3 of different designs for 3 birthday friends these two months.
Here is another one. I used a can-ring for the little face. I forgot to take pics of all the 3 key holders I made. These pics are sent to my by my friends. The two below are taken by mobile phone.

MORE AMIGURUMI STUFFED TOYS
Sheerah bought a few balls of yarn for me this trip home. It is a linen mixed yarn and is very tough for crocheting. She likes the pig in the Angry Birds, so I made her one. It took almost 1 ball of yarn.
Here is the result....we shall call her PINKY?
Chris' friend requested for an angry bird chew toy so I tried it out with the same kind of rope (finer than the one I used for the drumstick). I think this will be the last project I will do using this kind of rope. It is real tough and hard on my hands, especially my right thumb. Since there is only one color so I do the whole thing with just one color and did special tying of the ends inside the body (to make it last) before filling up with the poly fibre.
This is how big it looks on my palm and I think it is too small for the dog :) Maybe for Corrie to play fetch.
And I did an octopus to hang in my car :) Here's Blue Octopus! It is very easy to make and you can easily find a free pattern online.
